Job Description

Danfoss is looking for a Product Application Engineer (PAE) with the passion to support our customers within our electronic and CAN bus controlled hydraulic valves in the best possible way. 

If you want to work with advanced machines in an international environment and can combine advanced digital products with traditional hydraulics this is the right opportunity. You will be part of a dynamic and global team, and, besides customer support, have responsibilities within relevant development projects. Main tasks and key responsibilities will be: 
 

  • Detailed technical responsibility and support for existing and new product platforms within CAN bus electro-hydraulic actuators.
  • Provide technical support across all products within the portfolio and ensure content and preparation of relevant technical literature and tools.
  • Specify and initiate product changes and adjustments based on customer requirements.
  • Ensure delivery for customer projects is on time and at agreed cost and quality.
  • Communicate product changes to the customers and participate in customer visit.
  • Support market launch of new product developments.
  • Arrange and conduct product training internally as well as for customers.

Background & Skills

The right candidate for this position has a Bachelor or master’s engineering degree in electronics or mechatronics. You have been working within engineering or technical sales for a couple of years, either as a student job or full time. Furthermore, it will be a plus if you have knowledge of hydraulics. 

As a person, you are adaptable, proactive and follow the tasks to the end. You can put new ideas into practice, while at the same time taking on tasks and solving them independently and in close collaboration with your colleagues.
