Danfoss is looking for a strategic Senior Communications Partner to share their passion and experience as part of our Group Leadership Communication team. We are flexible with the location of this role, but it would be beneficial for you to physically be present at our headquarters in Nordborg, Denmark, a portion of your time.

 

Are you passionate about internal communications? Do you have experience advising senior leaders and executing their internal communications? Are you driven by making a difference? Then you could be our new Senior Communications Partner.

 

You will join our influential team of internal communication partners in the Group Leadership Communication team, which is part of the Group Communication & Reputation function. Together, we are responsible for Group internal and external communications, visitors, media, public affairs, sustainability, branding and digital employee experience.

Job Responsibilities

Your role as a trusted communication partner in the Group Leadership Communication team is to provide professional communication strategy, advice and execution on internal communications. By using a multi-channel, strategic approach to internal communication, we leverage synergies and create focus on internal communication to support employee engagement, strategy and culture.

 

Your tasks will involve:

  • Creating plans and executing content that reinforces Danfoss’ culture, purpose and strategy across the global organization.
  • Assisting leaders in internal communications for their part of the organization (i.e. leadership communications, communication of organizational changes and strategic direction) and further developing our concept to leverage leaders as an important internal communications channel.
  • Leveraging communication in high profile strategic projects, including M&A, digital and Diversity & Inclusion, securing communications advisory and execution for leaders.

Background & Skills

We expect that you have 8+ years of experience and a master’s degree in communications or journalism or similar. Preferably you have an international profile and are fluent in spoken and written English. You should be able to contribute with a positive and service-minded attitude to collaborate and interact with multiple and diverse stakeholders.

 

In addition, you have these personal and professional competences:

  • You have a special interest in internal communication and experience with leader communication, financial communication, change communication, communication training or another expert field.
  • You are experienced in advising senior leaders and C-level executives with their internal communication and executing it.
  • You are independent with a strong drive, are robust, and exhibit a lot of energy.
  • You have a structured work approach and project management skills.
  • You have an eye for detail and aesthetics and never compromise on quality.
  • You bring an extensive communications toolbox with a focus on digital.
