Job Description

Danfoss High Pressure Pumps (HPP) is looking for a strong and experienced SIOP (Sales, Inventory, Operational Planning) Manager with some experience in procurement, who will become part of our Supply Chain management team.

 

HPP is a fast-growing division in Danfoss Climate Solution and a leading global player within development and manufacturing of energy efficient high-pressure pumps and energy recovery devices, mainly used for production of drinking water.

 

Your key responsibility is the development and execution of the global HPP logistics and procurement strategy. In your role as a manager of a highly skilled and committed team of 10 colleagues, you are acting as a clear role model in change management. You will proactively manage the end-to-end responsibility for all sales and operations planning aspects from sourcing via production to delivery within our global supply chain.

As our new Logistics & Procurement Manager, you will work in a smaller business unit within Danfoss which allows you to take on a broad responsibility and to operate across a tactical and strategic level, having a significant impact on the product line and in our sales regions.

Background & Skills

To be considered for this position, you must have a M.Sc. or degree in supply chain/logistics, economics or similar, as well as strong leadership and communication skills. We expect you to have a minimum of 3 years of management experience in manufacturing/supply chain/logistics in a global company, as well as solid experience within the area, enabling you to contribute to Danfoss HPP strategy.

 

In addition, we expect you to:

 

  • Have a high level of system knowledge in SAP and SAP BW
  • Be able to drive E2E tactical Inventory Management and reduce complexity in the supply chain for your product lines
  • Have a clear and empathetic management style, as well as genuine interest in personal management
  • Maneuver safely in day-to-day activities and tasks with a sense of urgency
  • Be an open-minded, flexible and well-organized individual with excellent analytical skills
  • Be fluent in Danish and English
