Danfoss Business System (DBS) is looking for a Capability Building Lead who will focus on sharpening the approach for capability building for key stakeholders across Danfoss. 

We are at a crossroad; hence we are looking for a proven Capability Building Lead to both spearhead and guide us elevating the capability building agenda across Danfoss Group. This exciting role offers a unique mix of hands-on cross-organizational concept development and implementation as well as an opportunity for the successful person to build the internal team and scale the impact of the Capability Building capacity in DBS. In this position you will be shifting between being very operational and at the same time draw the lines for capability building at a tactical and strategical level. 
 

 

Job Responsibilities

You will drive the development and execution of the DBS capability building concept and together with our content owners, enable DBS to deliver best-in-class trainings across Danfoss. In other words – this challenging and important opportunity allows you to have a great impact on how we build capabilities for the future.

As the Capability Building Lead, you will act as a strategic learning partner for the designated business areas understanding the business and associated roles and their learning and development needs. You have a deep understanding of the integrated business strategy and challenges within these areas, and you can design and implement the necessary solutions to support and build capabilities and business results.

You will be responsible for defining our concept of capability building and – at the same time - also aligning it with key stakeholders across Danfoss and of course implement it to transform ideas into real business value. The scope is capability building at all levels of our organization – from the executive level to colleagues on all our plants globally. Building a link between the overall strategical views with the intermediate tactical level and finally conforming into different operational tasks is essential to this role.

More specific, you will:

  • Define which DBS capabilities are needed for the different levels of the organization.
  • Strategize and build the training offering concept.
  • Develop and execute the implementation plan.

Background & Skills

The successful candidate for the role has a relevant educational background and comes with a solid experience within capability building in an international organization. You could have a background from consultancy, having worked on this subject for complex organizations and setups. You enjoy working pragmatically when developing capabilities that are always built with the latest trends and methodologies in mind and stays on top of new research, digital solutions and world class thought leaders within training and capability building. 

You have proven and excellent interpersonal skills and a keen and natural ability to work effortlessly with a team. These competencies enable you to be a part, but also to work within a work environment which is characterized amongst other things by having a dedicated focus on ambitious targets and deadlines and high quality. You have the ability and knowledge to lead a process or project, hence proven project management skills are an advantage.
