Job Description

Governments around the world are facing many challenges nowadays and one of the issues they all have in common is how to finance the activities. Consequently, there is an increased challenge to tax departments of all multinational organizations to ensure we meet our responsibilities as good corporate citizens in compliance with global tax regulations. Group Transfer Pricing plays an important role in ensuring that Danfoss lives up to these responsibilities in our documentation and consultancy for the business. As a member of the team, you might move around the virtual globally by starting the day talking to China and conclude with a conversation with colleagues in Mexico. As a student worker, we do not expect a detailed knowledge of taxation matters but we do need a keen interest in tax and what it means for our business and good analytical skills are essential.

Job Responsibilities

Support in relation to Legal agreements:

  • Organize legal agreements sharepoint site under supervision of legal assistant
  • Create a list of legal agreements for each legal entity (annexure to local file), verify if the agreements are current – support legal assistant in the process.

 

Transfer Pricing Compliance & others:

  • Verifying data
  • Supporting notes taker for Value Chain Analysis discussions
  • Preparing operating statement (Simplified Profit & Loss), AMA-ASA Bridge
  • Organize sharepoint – creating sub-folder, extracting ASAs from legal site and saving it in sub-folder,
  • Organizing review checklists, sending out and collating replies
  • basic number crunching as the need arises.

Background & Skills

  • Is current enrolled in the field of economics, finance or international business 
  • Has an analytical mindset
  • Is open minded and proactively communicates with stakeholders from all around the world
  • Is confident in working with Microsoft Excel. 
  • Is structured and enjoys working with detail 
  • Is fluent in English 
  • Is ambitious to achieve the best possible solution for a given challenge with a target-oriented, pragmatic approach
  • Can work independently and take the initiative, as well as working in a team
