Job Description

Danfoss Power Solutions is looking for a data driven Supply Chain Specialist with an operational focus to join our team and ensure that our organization meets future demand to continue operating as efficiently and effectively as possible. You will have the opportunity to become part of a thriving and motivated team, taking on a versatile and comprehensive position with a wide range of tasks and responsibilities. We have recently implemented a global fulfillment setup, which supports how we work with segmentation, capacity and leveling of our factories and ensure that we have several supportive tools to create a high delivery service. 

 

Your focus will be on running local S&OP processes and facilitating and participating in cross-functional S&OP meetings (locally/globally), as well as participating in meeting with suppliers. You will also monitor and evaluate demand against forecast and coordinate activities. Moreover, you will be responsible for our Supply activities and for the daily communication and collaboration with Supply Chain Manager, Production Planners and OFRs. 
 

Job Responsibilities

You key responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

  • Estimate future scenarios and analyze inventory flows to build forecasting models and ensure forecast accuracy
  • Conduct monthly forecast maintenance
  • Support management with risk assessment and risk mitigation activities
  • Drive or participate in ad-hoc projects aimed to improve supply chain efficiency or cost reduction

Background & Skills

You probably have some years of experience from a similar positional knowledge within Supply Chain or Production Planning and a true interest in Supply chain and production. We will also consider newly graduated candidates with a degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Operations, or Business Administration, who are highly motivated for developing their skills and gaining experience in Supply Chain in a global industry company.

 

 It is an advantage that you have experience working with, SAP, BW and/or Power BI. Other requirements are:

  • Good mathematical and statistical knowledge
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency with standard office tools (PowerPoint, Word, Excel, etc.)
  • Fluent in English in speaking and writing
  • A structured, well-organized and analytical mindset with a hands-on approach
  • Self-driven, proactive in taking initiative
  • Open minded and ability to work across functions and cultures
