Job Description

Danfoss Refrigeration & Air-conditioning Controls (RAC) is seeking a User Experience Designer Intern. You will work in a team-oriented environment and will work independently with user research methods to help drive a user-oriented focus during the requirement description phase, while collaborating with other user experience experts and professionals within different engineering fields.

Job Responsibilities

Responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to, the following: 
•    Facilitation of user journey mapping sessions to analyze customer painpoints and opportunities
•    Collaboration with product management on a project currently being prepared to start development
•    Handover of findings to development teams, including exploration of handover-media
•    Generation of a toolkit that can help product management identify customer values on their own and be more customer centric during definition of requirements

•    Gateway connection
•    Danfoss APP pro (Under development)
•    Ecosystem description.

 


When process is established. A “test run” on the process description can be used on another project.

Background & Skills

The ideal candidate possesses these skills: 

  • Experience with the user centered design process
  • Theoretical knowledge of qualitative user research methods, e.g. as-is and to-be user journey mapping, moderated usability testing, etc.
  • Working with defining personas, setting user research goals/questions and to decide on appropriate methods
  • Experience working with collaborative tools such as Miro and Figma
