Job Description
Responsible for the manufacturing of automotive & industrial power electronic systems within the global footprint. Coordinates activities to drive product cost down.
Job Responsibilities
Responsible for managing teams and processes associated with converting materials and components into finished goods including:
- Planning, managing and reviewing global productions to achieve output in terms of revenue, quantity, quality, on time delivery
- Setting production standards
- Focusing on methodologies to drive cost down for competitiveness improvement
- Establishing supporting production KPI system together with Division controlling
- Setting up of production budgets including investments for capacity growth and quality improvement
- Continuously improve and maintain all operational factors at a state of the art level
- In charge of planning by meeting deadlines, output of production and the quality of the product at planned cost
Background & Skills
- Bachelor’s Degree in a technical field from an accredited college or university
- many years of professional experience in a comparable position
- Previous management or supervisory experience leading direct reports and multi site management of international Teams
- Excellent management skills, including communication, change management, training, coaching, team facilitation and analytical problem-solving
- Very good communication skills in German & English
