Job Description

Danfoss is looking for an experienced leader to fill the role as Manager -Credit & Collections. 

In this role we are expecting the person to have experience in Acccounts receivables (AR) management with very good communication skills stake holder management and People Manager skills. It would be preferable if you have worked with Sales department closely. 

Job Responsibilities

Responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to, the following.

  • AR Management /Collections experience (Customer calling, Customer Visits, AR Reconciliation)
  • End to end process knowledge on Order to Cash process
  • Good Stakeholder management exposure
  • Build control in the process and seal any loop holes; Reconcile all ledger accounts and clear old items
  • Validating all the provisions made for customer books and report the findings.
  • Strong Communication Skills with the ability to deal tactfully, confidently, and ethically with both internal and external customers required (International calling experience is highly desirable, or communication should be commendable)
  • Should be able lead credit team towards improvement of credit collections/credit reviews accuracy, quality and productivity
  • Closely monitor developments related to regulatory, Industry, track external ratings changes, and prepare notes on the same
  • Multiple stakeholder management – sales /controllers/finance plus external customer

Background & Skills

The ideal candidate possesses these skills. 

  • SAP /Hanna – one ERP knowledge expertise is a must; BI and other reporting tools is desirable
  • Experience in Financial Analysis and O2C – AR /collections/Credit/month end/Audit tasks is a must.                
  • Goal oriented, motivated self-starter, with excellent organizational skills & the ability to handle multiple tasks.
  • Detail oriented, good with numbers, Ability to handle stress and multi-task
  • Exposure to Robotics and Automations is desired
  • Candidate must have at least 3 years of people management experience
  • Should be well versed in MS Office (PowerPoint, Word, Excel tools)
  • Six sigma knowledge is an added advantage
  • Candidate should be flexible to work in shifts if required (4am IST). Overall flexibility on business requirement is needed

 

Educational Qualification:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting + MBA with at least 60% aggregate score is preferred

• Additional qualification (e.g., Diploma, certificate courses) in the following fields will be added advantage:

  • Accounting/Financial Analysis
  • Credit Risk Assessments
  • Accounts receivables (including Month end and Audit tasks)
