We are looking for a R&D Engineer with a background on the design and test of embedded software algorithms to join our Research & Development team.

Job Responsibilities
Main Functions
- Control firmware and algorithm development.
- Specification, implementation, and verification of SW-modules.
- Co-operation with other departments on local and global level.
- Implementation of Real Time Ethernet fieldbus systems/stacks (EtherCAT; Profinet; PowerLink, EthernetIP).
Accessory Functions
- Designing of Scripts and Tools for Automation.
- Management of Infrastructure (Build Servers, etc.).
- Specify and author test cases for our high-performance motion drives
- Verify the correct functionality of drive software in all phases of development.
- Continuously improve and expand our automated test systems

- Educational Background in Electronics, Information Technology, or equivalent culture.
- Strong knowledge of the C/C++ - language and RTOS-based embedded systems.
- Expertise in several of the following fields:
- firmware development for embedded systems.
- software testing methods (e.g., Hardware In Loop testing).
- embedded real-time systems and tools.
- Real Time Ethernet fieldbus systems (e.g., EtherCAT; Profinet; PowerLink; EthernetIP).
- FPGA design.
- model based design using MATLAB/Simulink environment.
- Good knowledge of English (written and spoken) – the knowledge of German language is a plus.
