Job Description

Danfoss is looking for a Rulestream ETO Developer to join a , diverse team of specialists with great team spirit. The role will be responsible for to understand business rules and define and implement it in Rulestream. Define all components within Rulestream (rules engine; integrations, UI) including technical documentation, software configuration & code, and associated IT infrastructure.

Job Responsibilities

Responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to, the following. 

  • Ability to understand business rules and define and implement it in Rulestream.
  • Define all components within Rulestream (rules engine; integrations, UI) including technical documentation, software configuration & code, and associated IT infrastructure.
  • Design/architecture and develop/maintain Rulestream applications with PLM (Teamcenter), CAD (NX)
  • Where required lead and support Rulestream Super Users for troubleshooting the errors and suggest for improvements.
  • Define standards and best practices within area of Rulestream.
  • Creation and maintenance of databases in SQL server management.
  • Ability to anticipate customer (Business Units) needs and ensure that they are transferred in rules engine and simplification programs.
  • Support migration from existing database/System to defined / developed configuration frameworks.
  • Support the creation and maintenance of technical documentation (User manual, Design specifications, Best practices).
  • Prepare accurate implementation and delivery plans as per Digitized Product roadmap. 
  • Support Business Units for each stage of development of Rulestream application.

Background & Skills

The ideal candidate possesses these skills. 

  • Hands on design/architecture development experience of integrating Rulestream application with PLM, CAD software.
  • Extensive knowledge on functional use of Rulestream and batch process.
  • Experience in one or more of the following programming languages: VB, C#, Java
  • Knowledge of PLM (Teamcenter).
  • Knowledge of CAD application (NX).
  • Knowledge of NX-Open programming, UFUNC (optional).
  • Knowledge of SQL Server and Git (Optional).
  • Good understanding of Object-oriented programming.
  • Strong focus on testing and quality assurance.
  • Work both independently and as an integral member of a team
  • Strong teamwork with good analytical skills and ability to communicate ideas in both written and verbal forms
