Job Description

We have an immediate opportunity for a Engineer V&V ​to join us at our diverse team. The Engineer -  V&V will be responsible for leading end to end V&V of Enterprise Software for the hydraulics portfolio.

Job Responsibilities

Responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to, the following.

1)    Lead the RDE portfolio Software V&V development 
2)    Understand customer requirements and communicate them to other Danfoss teams, and act as the liaison for program activities as appropriate.
3)    Monitors progress and achievements on projects. Provide regular reports on development and support activities
4)    Ability to lead project technically, work with cross functional teams & provide solutions.
5)    Should have ability to influence and drive people / activities on complex technical issues.
6)    Ensures new products meet our customer’s needs.
7)    Develop re-usable V&V components and looks for continuous improvement opportunities in mobile & industrial products. Share knowledge within the team and demonstrates flexibility working in parallel on multiple assignments/product categories. 
8)    Collaborate with local / global suppliers and external Labs for testing etc.

Background & Skills

The ideal candidate possesses these skills. 

  • B.E/B.Tech  in Computer Science/Engineering Advanced degree (Master’s degree) preferred. 
  • 6-9 total years of strong experience in Microsoft Technologies and related technologies.
  • 4+ years of experience in Test Automation using Selenium, Postman and related technologies.
  • Experience in programming languages like C# and Python.
  • Experience in creating test plan, test suites and overall test cycles and test automation for Windows and Web based applications.
  • Exposure to unit test frameworks like MSTest, nUnit, xUnit.
  • Demonstrated experience of full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) on multiple projects including requirements, design, development, and unit testing using Agile Methodologies (SCRUM).
  • Working knowledge on Atlassian Tools.
  • Have Knowledge of working with integrated teams using GIT based version controls tools like BITBUCKET, GITHUB etc.
  • Good amount of exposure to industrial protocols like CAN (J1939, CANOpen), MODBUS, PROFINET etc. 
  • Thorough understanding of software design principles, algorithms, data structures, and multithreading concepts with strong problem-solving skills and debugging skills.
  • Innovative mindset and problem-solving skills to use rigorous logic and methods to solve difficult problems with effective solutions, looks beyond the obvious and doesn't stop at the first answers.
  • Experience working with global teams and driving the projects for high customer satisfaction.
  • Microsoft Azure or Similar Cloud Platform and good understanding of IoT and Industry 4.0 applications.
  • Azure DevOps, DevOps practices.
