Job Description

We have an immediate opportunity for a ​Logistics Manager ​to join us at our diverse team. The ​Logistics Manager will be responsible for WH Management, executing imports & exports activities, 3 PL/plant Warehouse, Excise, Logistics, GST and GTM for all product lines. Interaction with Production, Sales, and source plants on daily basis to ensure the OTD for Customers including Interco Sales. Ensure SIOP/Encore sales visibility and close co-ordination with CFT. The position is also an interface with Operations & Sales to ensure Customer Requirements are linked to procurement planning through SIOP model. Work closely with Sales, Operations, Procurement & Planning.

Job Responsibilities

Responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to, the following. 

  • Develop & Lead Warehouse & Logistics, Import –export teams to ensure planning, Logistics, Warehouse & GTM functions management,
  • Achieves plan target of Plant/RTS Sales. Responsibility also includes designing & documenting all the processes that are key for managing the correct levels & accuracies of Inventory.
  • Achieves Plan targets of Logistics cost (both inbound & outbound) & work on optimum logistics Model
  • High focus on Customer OTD > 96%
  • Interact with customers and a Sales team to understand and meet the customer requirements.
  • Lead preparation of short- and long-term outlook for Plant/RTS/Hose sales.
  • Analyze Current/Future demand requirements and compare source plant capabilities to ensure meeting Customer requirements. Work closely with Procurement, Operations & Sales to meet shortfalls between current plan & Customer Requirements by plan adjustments without any extra impact on Inventory & Productivity., participate in SIOP process for Plant/RTS /HOSE products.

Background & Skills

  • The ideal candidate possesses these skills. Graduation / Post Graduation Diploma in GTM
  • 10-12 years of experience in Manufacturing Unit in WH, Planning & Logistics function.
  • Through understanding and working experience in Inventory Management, Forecasting, Inbound-Outbound Logistics, Imports- Export’s compliances experience, GTM.
  • Proficiency in MRP/ERP systems as well as MS office.
  • Strong analytical & leadership skill to manage & mentor team members.
  • Strong Customer Service focus for both with internal & External Customers.
  • Excellent communication & Presentation skills in English (written & verbal)
  • Use of Lean tools to improve the business processes continuously. Team Player.
  • Ability to manage employees effectively. Ability to forge strong relationships at all levels in organization
