Job Description

At Danfoss, we are currently looking for a Manager HR for our locations in the Netherlands and Belgium, based in Rotterdam and or in Groot-Bijgaarden.

 

In the Benelux, Danfoss has several locations with offices present from different Danfoss legal entities, all belonging to the Danfoss Group.

Job Responsibilities

In this position, you will act as a sparring partner and consultant for our people managers. Together with your team, consisting of HR Generalists and Payroll/Admin, you will be responsible for the entire employee life cycle for your support area. You will also be part of the Regional HR Management Team.

 

You work independently with creative freedom on the diverse spectrum of operational HR work and are responsive to the needs of our employees. Tasks you can expect are:

  • You and your team will be in close contact with the people managers on topics related to performance management, people development, personnel planning and organizational changes.
  • You accompany annual processes on compensation components (bonus and salary adjustments) and advance the further development of employee benefits.
  • In addition, you will ensure constructive cooperation with the country leadership team, the work council, accompany negotiations on reconciliation of interests and works agreements.
  • Besides your daily operational tasks, you will contribute your expertise to HR processes and procedures, optimize or implement new processes and procedures if required.
  • You will be part of various cross boarder and regional projects on overarching HR topics such as digitization, legal changes and HR systems.
  • In day-to-day business, you will work closely with the different cross boarder HR teams, but also a lot with subregional stakeholders.

Background & Skills

For this position, you have a degree related to HRM and several years of professional experience in a comparable position, preferably in an industrial and/or sales environment. You have extensive knowledge of labour, works constitution, collective labour agreements and social security laws. In particular, for the Netherlands and Belgium. In addition, we are looking for:

  • Independent and proactive way of working with a focus on customer orientation;
  • Ability to combine strategic thinking with hands-on mentality;
  • Demonstrate inspirational, empathic and future-proof leadership skills to your team as well as to the organization. Lead by example;
  • High communication skills, diplomatic skills and high consulting competence in dealing with managers, works council and other stakeholders from different cultural backgrounds;
  • Knowledge of SAP and experience in the introduction of digital HR tools is an advantage;
  • Willing and able to travel to the different locations;
  • Fluent (in word and writing) Dutch and English language skills. If you have good French language skills, this is perceived as a major advantage.
