Job Description
We are looking for our new Technical Support colleague to join our Danfoss Climate Solutions technical support team based at our office in Rotterdam.
Danfoss Climate Solution provides end-to-end support to our partners, installers, wholesale and OEM customers. We are also expanding our collaboration with urban planners and governments who are implementing or upgrading heating and/or cooling systems. Danfoss Climate Solutions holds a unique position in the market. We have a wide range of products from the more traditional products, radiator thermostats to future-proof solutions like district heating/cooling to geo-thermal and domotica solutions.
Job Responsibilities
You will become part of the growing and divers Danfoss Climate Solutions Sales and Technical Support team. We have more than 20 colleagues located in the Benelux. Your team on location, the internal/technical support team, consists of 5 colleagues. You will support our customers and our commercial sales team by answering technical and commercial questions.
Additional tasks and responsibilities you can expect are:
- Provide support by means of answering technical related questions. Those questions will reach you via email and via the telephone. Questions can be asked by your sales colleagues or our customers (wholesalers, installers, engineering consultancies);
- Prepare and share quotations using pre-defined information provided by the sellers and or customers needs. Ensure this information is correctly administered into our CRM system Salesforce;
- Follow up on outstanding sale proposals, close orders, create orders with follow-up, prepare and process order invoicing and check if the orders match the proposals.
Background & Skills
We would like to see that you have technical education in mechanical or electrical engineering combined with some years of relevant work experience in a technical environment. Having experience and knowledge of heating installations is a major advantage. Additionally, we are looking for:
- Experience with MS Office and digital tools like SAP, Salesforce etc.;
- Willing to share your knowledge and expertise within your team and our customers;
- Have a flexible and proactive attitude and able to work and function in a team;
- Eager to develop your own knowledge and expertise by means of online and offline internal or external training sessions;
- Have fluent (in word and writing) language skills for the Dutch & English language.
