Product Application Engineer (m/f/d)

Job Description

Danfoss Power Solutions is looking for a Product Application Engineer (PAE) with the passion to gain technical expertise and support our customers within our digital CAN bus advanced control valves business unit in the best possible way. If you want to work with advanced machines in an international environment and can combine advanced digital controls with traditional hydraulics this is the right opportunity. You will be part of a dynamic global team, and, besides customer support, have responsibilities within relevant development projects.

Job Responsibilities

Responsibilities for this position include but are not limited to the following:

• Detailed technical responsibility and support for existing and new product platforms within our digital CAN bus advanced control valves business unit.

• Provide technical support and expertise in applying and commissioning  advanced control valves in new customer applications.

• Specify and initiate product changes and adjustments based on customer requirements.

• Communicate product changes to customers and participate in customer visits

• Support market launch of new product developments.

• Arrange and conduct product training internally as well as for customers.

• Willingness to travel (ca. 25%, mostly within Europe)

Background & Skills

The right candidate for this position has a Bachelor or master’s engineering degree in electronics or mechatronics and speaks English fluently. You have been working within engineering or technical sales for a couple of years, either as a student job or full time. Furthermore, it will be a plus if you have knowledge of hydraulics.

As a person, you are adaptable, proactive and follow the tasks to the end. You can put new ideas into practice, while at the same time taking on tasks and solving them independently and in close collaboration with your colleagues.
