Job Description

Danfoss Mexico is looking for a skilled Distribution Center Operations Supervisor. In this position you will be responsible for execute and coordinate process in operations of distribution center in alignment with internal team and costumer requirements.  You will use MRP, quality systems and lean manufacturing tools to effectively communication to achieve high performance in our process focus to attend costumer promise follow-up with costumers daily, manage on time delivery to ensure consistent flow of materials. 

 As Operations Supervisor you will join a team of highly skilled and committed colleagues working closely together and acting as sparring partners for each other.

Job Responsibilities

 Responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to, the following.

  • Schedule the receipt, shipping, assortment, handling, distribution and storage of all materials, raw materials and finished products that enter and leave the warehouse.
  • Ensure that all sales / production orders are sent to external / internal customers in a timely manner, they must comply in terms of quantities, delivery dates or special requirements indicated in purchase orders, orders and / or quality inspections as well as specifications.
  • Communicate delays or variations in inbound / outbound shipments to the parties involved, including import and export of materials.
  • Maintain a strict control of the inventory in accordance with the objectives and indicators of the company to meet the internal and external demand of the products.
  • Plan warehouse design and space requirements in order to avoid loss or damage, and to achieve warehouse optimization.
  • Implement and monitor performance metrics for shipping, scrap, assortment and receipt.
  • Ensure the order and accommodation of materials within the warehouse, as well as their physical condition.

The ideal candidate possesses these skills. 

 

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Engineering or similar
  • 3+ years of experience leading operative personnel
  • MFG-Pro / SAP knowledge 
  • English intermediate level 
  • Warehouse & Leadership Management
  • Knowledge of Lean manufacturing tools (knowledge of statistics & statistical process control)
  • Work under the guidelines, policies and process of Danfoss Philosophy, IATF 16949 and ISO 14000 Environmental
