Job Description

We have an immediate opportunity ​to join us at our diverse team. The Manufacturing Technician will be responsible for Develop and improve manufacturing processes for safety, quality and productivity.

Job Responsibilities

Responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to, the following. 

  • Adjusts and optimizes process conditions and parameters for each manufacturing route operation.
  • Generates documentation of manufacturing processes (drawings and tool sheet).
  • Support and/or participate on Continuous Improvement Activities such as: Kaizen, Ideas Programs, cost out and/or demonstrate improvements in goals year over year in our processes or practices aligned to achieve or business goals and/objectives.
  • Analyzes and interacts with suppliers of tools and devices, aiming at the correct use in the manufacturing process.
  • Develop designs that meet product specifications, technical requirements and industrial policies.

The ideal candidate possesses these skills. 

  • 3 years of experience as CNC technician or programmer desirable.
  • TSU Engineering, Manufacturing, Mechanical field.
  • Mechanical aptitude and understanding of manufacturing processes
  • Working knowledge of quality/problem solving tools (PPAP, Capability studies, PFMEA, Gauge R&R, 4-Step, 8D, Fishbone)
  • Computer skills, (Microsoft Office, PLC, test stand)
  • Familiarity with TPM and SMED techniques
  • Customer Service mindset and the ability to stay calm under pressure are necessary traits
  • Outstanding safety record and approach to behavioral based safety using proper PPE are requirements
  • English required.
