Job Description
Danfoss Queretaro is looking for a skilled Production Planner. In this position you will ensure an uninterrupted supply of materials to support production and sales. Work to resolve Work Orders and Materials issues while achieving and maintaining inventory business metrics.
As Production Planner you will join a team of highly skilled and committed colleagues working closely together and acting as sparring partners for each other.
Job Responsibilities
Responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to, the following.
- Scheduling of Incoming material, overall ownership of material ordering and availability
- Coordinate the Work Order Process in the shop floor.
- Monitor inventory levels to ensure plant inventory objectives are met.
- Release Work orders to satisfy customer demand while carrying minimum effective inventory & prepare requirements for purchased and manufactured parts.
- Schedule & Coordinate shipments for Customers or Coating Suppliers
- Analyze, Planning and require the raw material and/or subassemblies for OEM & Service Parts production line’s (releases) through Work Order
- Release Work Order based on ERP system
- Define and Coordinate the Work Orders process in the internal production lines
- Coordinate the backflush process in the shop floor
- Monitoring the OTD , OTR & Aging report for Work Orders
Background & Skills
The ideal candidate possesses these skills.
- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Engineering or similar
- 3 to 5 years of experience as materials planner in automotive industry or similar, working with global suppliers
- MFG Pro / SAP knowledge (Desirable)
- English Advanced level
- Negotiations & Leadership skills
- Technical knowledge of bill of material structuring, schedule execution, and inventory management
- APICS training (Desirable)
