Job Description
The Senior Quality Engineer position is responsible for the performance and support of the quality management program with oversight at the Searcy, AR facility. This position will report to the Quality Manager.
Job Responsibilities
Responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to, the following.
- Coordinate activities of change control for the customer communication process
- Responsible for driving customer return investigations including warranty and processing claims.
- Internal auditor for ISO 9001 and internal quality management system. Understand and lead plant toward IATF 16949 compliance.
- Lead projects to improve product reliability and quality for internal and supplied product.
- Support supplier resourcing projects through PPAP requirements and other requirements for inspection (Advanced product quality planning)
- Support change management program through PPAP and execution
- Travel to include internal or external supplier or customer visits, intercompany audits, training. 1 week per month maximum
- Maintain the change control history, records, and documentation to demonstrate compliance to customer and company policies.
- Development of internal and external suppliers to improved quality performance
- Lead improvement projects
- Execute statistical activities such as gage R and R, MSA, and SPC

Required (basic) qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field or 5+ years of work experience in a manufacturing environment.
Preferred qualifications
- Engineering or other technical degree, CQT, CQE, EIT, CQA.
- Database building skills in Excel, Power BI and Access

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office software packages (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
- Able to conduct effective training sessions objectively and confidently to key stakeholders at all levels of the organization
- Demonstrates an ability to research and analyze various types of feedback to make recommendations to continuously improve training offerings in alignment with key business objectives
- Demonstrate the ability to prioritize projects
- Demonstrates an ability to get results with a sense of urgency
