Job Description
Danfoss is looking for senior and highly experienced Sales Director of Drives - Korea & Japan to develop and manage our Danfoss Drives business and organization in the countries to achieve short- and long-term targets. You will be responsible for acquiring new business as well as maintaining existing relationships. incumbent is expected to secure sales force efficiency in core/industries and marine businesses by leveraging on full scope and best possible value proposition to maximize results and wins in opportunities. To be successful, the incumbent must drive a clear go-to-market strategy with an inclusive approach and strong opportunity management across relevant segments and across countries. You will report to Head of North East Asia directly and dotted line to the Regional Drives Segment Head.
Job Responsibilities
Responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to, the following.
- Sales management and business development of Drives segment
- Deliver on the financial objectives for Drives segment
- Maintain and develop customer loyalty and satisfaction
- Align local business needs with regional and global strategic plans
- Drive business activities, opportunities and be on top of trends within the designated business area
- Drive sales coaching and alignment across teams for maximum potential in projects and key customer opportunities
- Support implementation of regional activities relating to marketing communication, application support and customer service
- Be the critical and knowledgeable source for relevant insights in technology, applications, business and channel strategy
- Develop and execute plans for change management to ensure the long-term business objectives are achieved
- Support and be the role model in utilization and implementation of sales processes, pipeline, account plans, lead generation
- As a member of local management team(LMT), an excellent communication and collaboration is strongly required
Background & Skills
The ideal candidate possesses these skills.
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or equivalent. MBA qualification will have an added advantage
- Minimum 10 years of Drives experience or similar fields of work
- Proven track record in sales and project pipeline sales management
- Ability to engineer solutions through product application
- Strong leadership and change management skills
- Fluency in English with effective presentation skills & proficient in Microsoft Office applications
