Job Description
Danfoss Hydraulics Division is currently seeking a Supply Chain Manager to join our team. This position is based at our Shawnee, OK location. Relocation is provided.
Position Overview: The Supply Chain Manager will be responsible for managing key Supply Chain related functions such as materials planning, scheduling, ordering activities, direct/indirect material purchasing, inventory control, supporting product throughput, Leading Supply Chain in the high performance work team Tier 1,2,3 Boards warehousing, shipping and receiving. Will also manage, coach and transform direct supply chain personnel in the procurement management, material management and demand management. To drive receipt, disbursement, and inventory control of material to ensure on-time delivery to customer orders while maintaining assigned inventory levels to meet the site business objectives.
Job Responsibilities
- Ensure correct planning parameters and transaction disciplines are utilized in order execution systems (such as MFG Pro) to ensure proper order generation and inventory balances.
- Ensure that all inputs to production plan are know and risks mitigated for strong performance to plan.
- Manage material cost and schedule impact of proposed engineering changes in addition to taking necessary actions to ensure successful implementation and incorporation of approved engineering releases.
- Ensure quality of shipping documentation to meet corporate, financial, and customer audit requirements.
- Manage physical inventory audit methodology which meets corporate, governmental and customer specifications.
- Evaluate performance of the group in order to facilitate performance management, merit promotions, job transfers, dismissals, commendations, etc.
- Coordinate with central Supply Chain function to provide data and participate in teams in order to drive best practices across Danfoss.
- Support compliance initiatives and corporate commodity, logistics, and inventory strategies to achieve synergy across the operation.
- Understand specialty metals, FAR / DFAR and Import / export compliances

Background & Skills
Required (Basic) Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university
- Five (5) years minimum progressive experience within supply chain
- Three (3) years minimum experience directly managing a team
Preferred qualifications:
- CPIM, CIRM, C.P.M. and/or PMP certification.
- Background and knowledge in Oracle, MFG/Pro, and other equivalent software packages.
- Thorough knowledge of complex machined materials management, lean manufacturing, MRP/ERP, and MFG Pro highly preferred.
