Job Description

1. Drive quality improvements in production to ensure stable output and reduce scrap and rework

2. Ensure quality systems and standards are in place and make sure they are followed

3. Help to protect customers against failures in the problem solving process (internal/external)

4. Ensure fact based data analysis so the organization is able to make the right prioritues of quality projects

Job Responsibilities

Responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to, the following.  

  1. Support and control that the QMS process is executed in accordance with QMS process including conducting of audits where applicable
  2. Act as a facilitator to make sure quality tools is used in all relevant manufacturing processes and that the tools are used in the right way
  3. Control that the quality control points are established and maintained in the factory and executed according to the control plan
  4. Control that needed quality tools and documentation is developed and implemented before new product release (NPD M5)
  5. Control that needed quality documentation is developed and implemented before product and process changes are released (Change Control M5)
  6. Control that product audits are planned and executed according to the plan and that corrective and preventive actions is made in case of nonconformities (8D)
  7. Support and control that containment, corrective and preventive actions are implemented, verified and validated (8D)
  8. Control that the waivers and concession approval process on parts, products and manufactuting process are correctly executed and Participate in approval of waivers on parts and internal manufacturing processes
  9. Paiticipate in the Continuous Improvement process to support the execution of improvement projects in line with the quality plan (Quality One Pages)
  10. Other tasks as required on the job agreed with a direct Manager

Background & Skills

The ideal candidate possesses these skills. 

1. ISO/TS auditor  (Mandatory)

2. Six-Sigma Greenbelt  (Mandatory)

3. Six-Sigma Blackbelt  (No Mandatory)

4. Automotive experience  (Mandatory)

5. English (written and spoken)

6.  5-8 years experience, Bachelor degree

7. Typical technical background with experience within manufacturing - like PT engineer or similar.
