Job Description
Danfoss is looking for a Lead Consultant, versed in SAP Production Planning, to join our global ERP team. As a Plan-to-Produce Consultant, you are responsible to understand business needs, propose and create optimized solutions on the global One ERP platform, based on SAP, but also using cloud solutions.
This employee will be based in the United States, with a preferred location within driving distance of one of our Danfoss facilities and a remote work/hybrid option.
Job Responsibilities
Responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to, the following:
• Understanding existing solutions and compare these to the business requirements
• Responsibility for designing new solutions and recommend enhancements
• Configure, Customize & Build solutions to meet business process and requirements
• Work closely with Business/Solution Architects and support them to developing prototypes and implement quality solutions
• Understand the technical requirements and develop detailed design documents
• Coordinate support activities and identify solutions for complex issues
• Specification of developments, with minimum supervision, that meets quality standards and best practices
• Responsibility for analysis, design, planning and setting up of systems solutions concerning support and implementation of the Forecast to Plan and Plan to produce capabilities
Background & Skills
The ideal candidate will have 8-10 years of experience in the follow:
• SAP Production Planning module, Production planning (MTO/MTS)
• Production Order management, SOP/Demand planning, MRP, Capacity planning, Kanban processes
• Shop-floor system integrations
• Various Production process and data (as for example BOM, Routings, Work Center, Production orders)
• Out/in-bound and workflow setups for error handling in S/4 Hana, MATMAS
In addition to experience, you’ll be successful in this role if you are:
• Service minded and good at taking initiative and adapting to new situations
• An excellent problem solver and have strong analytical skills
• Result oriented, motivated and a self-starter, with desire to work in a global team
• Versed at working in English – both written & spoken
