Job Description
Danfoss Turbocor Compressors Inc, a leading-edge technology company in Tallahassee, Florida, is looking for a 2nd shift R&D Lab Test or HVAC Technician. The hours for this position are Monday – Friday 3:30 pm – 12:00 am with the potential for overtime.

Job Responsibilities
- Compressor installation and removal (mechanical & electrical)
- Test equipment & compressor configuration & setup
- Perform compressor tests in accordance with formal test requests (TRF)
- Maintain accurate and complete test logs
- Test data summary
- Record, organize and report test data in accordance with the TRF
- Responsible for maintaining a clean, safe and orderly workplace.
- Responsible for understanding and complying with quality policy, safety, procedures and instructions to ensure product quality, customer satisfaction, attainment of business goals and environmental well-being.
Background & Skills
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- Must be EPA certified to handle Refrigerants or able to earn certification once hired
- Ability to apply Basic mathematical concepts such as equations and simple formula calculations
- Motivated, willing to learn and able to work unsupervised
- Fundamental computer knowledge (Windows, MSOffice)
- Good mechanical and problem-solving skills
Preferred:
- Sound Knowledge in Refrigeration/ Air Conditioning Concepts &Principles
- Able to work flexible hours (including 1st shift (7am-3:30pm))
