There has never been a better time to join our global company.  We are offering a Supply Chain Analyst position at our Tallahassee FL location.  As a member of the Danfoss Turbocor Supply Chain Team, the Supply Chain Analyst works with all areas of Supply Chain to give day to day support and work on continuous improvement projects that translate into measurable benefits to the business and its customers.  The primary focus of the team is to provide an executable operations plan by effectively managing customer orders & forecasts, material supply, and logistics within and outside the facility.

 

Job Responsibilities

 

Supply Chain Optimization

 

    • Plan and Implement Supply Chain Optimization projects that align with DTC Strategic Objectives
    • Controls and Coordinates all Supply Planning activities to optimize inventory levels to align with customer and operational service requirements
    • Monitors and maintains relevant MRP Settings and performs routing data clean up and maintenance.
    • Identify best practice within Operational processes and work with stakeholders to resolve gaps
    • Represent the Materials Management team as the single point of contact for the PMO team
      • Coordinate and execute PIPO Plans relating to NPD and Supplier re-sourcing activities
    • Develops and publishes Supply Chain KPI’s
      • Vendor OTD
      • Inventory Targets
      • Freight
    • Complete Quarterly Excess and Obsolete analysis in collaboration with Finance and Product Support.
    • Works in close collaboration with Master Planner to align Materials Strategy to rolling demand plan to identify gaps and proactively develop and deploy countermeasures.
    • Coordinates with Strategic Sourcing partners on key supplier development activities
Background & Skills

 

  • BS/BA in Business, Supply Chain or IT related field
  • 5+ years of related experience in a Supply Chain related field
  • Familiarity with lean concepts (Value Stream Mapping, Kaizen Leadership, 5S, etc.)
  • CPIM, CSCP, APICS, Lean Manufacturing and Six-Sigma Green Belt certifications
  • Expert in ERP systems (SAP preferred) and Microsoft office suite software (Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Word, MS project, etc.).
  • Strong in Microsoft Office Suite: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook
  • Excellent analytical, problem solving/decision making skills; ability to make timely, effective, fact-based decisions.
  • High attention to detail.
  • Must be motivated and able to operate independently with some coaching from leadership.
  • Must have the ability to deal with ambiguity and be able to work with constantly changing priorities.
