Job Description

Danfoss Drives is in the search of a Test Engineer to work in our AC drives related R&D Product Drive Testing team in Vaasa. In this position, you will work closely together with R&D Engineers, Project Managers and other Test Engineers.

Job Responsibilities

As our new Test Engineer, you will be independently planning and building the test setups according to the specifications set. You will then conduct testing and measuring tasks in our R&D laboratory and finally reporting and analyzing the test results. Tasks involve testing in all phases of product development process: R&D tests, prototype tests, type tests, approvals testing and customer cases. 

Background & Skills

To be successful in this position, you should have a degree in Electrical or Electronics Engineering. Knowledge of electrical safety is highly appreciated. Our way of working is based on Scrum model and we hope that this is something you are already familiar with. Basic understanding of electrical measuring devices helps you to get started and is seen as an asset. We expect you to have good command both in Finnish and English. 


On a more personal level, you are naturally interested in technology and able to work independently in a team setup. You enjoy hands on-work and you conduct your work with positive attitude. You work in a systematic and organized ways and take full responsibility of your tasks. You are interested of developing your skills and eager to learn more.
