Job Description

The Hydraulics Material Planners work as part of the SCM team in van wert responsible for Replenishment execution for the Van Wert, OH and Cleveland, TN Plants. Working with Scheduling, customer service, Sales etc. ensuring that they have the correct amount of material on hand to meet end-customer demand

Job Responsibilities

Responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to, the following.

 

  • Daily monitoring of supplier replenishment through Supplier Vis inputs and outputs to ensure that suppliers are correctly replenishing our sites.
  • Working with SIOP & Logistics to align replenishment and logistics with demand requirements
  • Analyzing and monitoring the MRP forecast for his/her items to ensure accuracy for proper planning by suppliers and for its use in calculating Min-Max where applicable.  This is a critical continuous improvement input into the accuracy of the SIOP forecast.
  • Providing input on supplier capacity and performance status to the SIOP Supply, Procurement, and Supplier Development teams.

 

Background & Skills

 

Required (basic) qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 3+ years of experience in one or more functional area (Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Materials Mgt. or Logistics) function

 

Preferred qualifications

  • Master’s degree
  • APICS certification
