Project Manager

This role will be part of the Global RAC RD&E organization in Danfoss and will have local reporting to the Head of R&D, IRF control system and functional reporting to the head of Global RAC RD&E NPD and will lead and manage cross functional product development projects within Industrial Refrigeration controllers and electronic systems.

Responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to, the following:

•    Work and coordinate within a team of ultimately 5-10 specialists.
•    Develop and maintain critical competences within design and development of controllers for the industrial refrigeration business.
•    Facilitate global collaboration with colleagues from different functions in the Danfoss RAC organisation and at the same time be a part of the local Danfoss AAIM organization.
•    Take responsibility and lead cross functional projects within the industrial refrigeration control business area. 
•    Create clear and attainable project objectives based on business case
•    Facilitate teamwork and cross functional mindset with use of agile / scrum approaches
•    Manage time, cost and quality according to business case
•    Prepare and maintain project schedules with focus in on-time completion of new product development
•    Communicate with customers, management and stakeholders about progress, deviations and deliveries (Milestone meetings and weekly updates)
•    Plan and execute team meetings and workshops according to Danfoss Business System guidelines (PDP)
•    Set goal and track/report progress
•    Plan and prepare risk mitigation 
•    Facilitate structured problem solving

• Bachelor or similar education with a technical background within electronics.
• 5 years or more in project management 
• Practical experience with product development (Electronics/Mechatronics)
• Fluent and comprehensive English
