Job Description

Danfoss Business System (DBS) is looking for Transformation Experts to manage regional and global projects and drive change management initiatives across various Danfoss factories within Indirect Cost. As Transformation Expert, you will be assigned to specific projects in our factories for up to 6 months, sometimes leading more than one project at a time. You will be leading the projects to achieve strong contribution margin improvements by optimizing the Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) within Indirect Cost impacting the Factory Performance. You will provide support and coaching for leaders and systematically share best practice using various improvement tools. You will be working in a truly multicultural environment with highly qualified colleagues from all over the world.


We have a global footprint and therefore it is important that you have the flexibility and willingness to travel approx. 50% - 70% of the time and to work in all of our factories.


 

Job Responsibilities

•    Lead cross-functional projects to identify Indirect Cost optimization potentials including securing buy-in from relevant stakeholders, analyzing data, defining scope and agreeing on targets
•    Act and support as Project Leader to ensure timely execution to achieve agreed targets
•    Secure performance in the plants in terms of Safety, Quality, Delivery and Cost
•    Provide leadership vision and performance coaching to the Operation teams to ensure goals are achieved
•    Challenge and support factory and divisional management to drive a culture of high performance and continuous improvement
•    Drive Performance Management (PMS) to follow up on activities, provide corrective actions if needed, challenge to reach stretch targets and report to Management

Background & Skills

To be considered for this position, you should have 7+ years of experience within procurement and/or supply chain management gained in a large or medium-sized organization. You have a background from a manufacturing environment and hold a relevant Master’s degree. To succeed, you must have hands-on experience in implementing change management projects. You are a strong team player and an inspirational leader who possess both commercial and technical knowledge and credibility, with the ability to quickly gain the confidence of your team, peers and management. Your strong and decisive personality, well-developed interpersonal skills and can-do attitude enables you to solve complex problems and create sustainable impact. In addition, we are looking for a candidate who:

•    Preferably you have experience in optimizing Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) and Production Tools (e.g. cutting tools) from a commercial and/or technical perspective.
