Senior Supplier quality engineer

Job Description
  •  SQE acts as liaison between Danfoss’ users of supplied parts and suppliers, to assure Danfoss receives parts that conform to prints and specifications resolve issues and ensure corrective action on non-conforming parts.
  •  Acts as Danfoss Heating China representative for any issue faced by one of Danfoss factories and Danfoss sales for a finished product with a supplier of its area of responsibility
  •  Strong support for new supplier approval on conducting supplier audit and evaluation
Job Responsibilities
  • Supplier non-conformity management      
  • In charge of sending non-conformity claim for each case detected inside Danfoss factory or at customer
  • In charge of getting 8D reports for each claim to one of its supplier:
  • Send regularly to accounting and purchasing dpt. supplier issues related costs
  • Send regularly to accounting and purchasing dpt. supplier issues related costs
  • When a supplier non-conformity has generated a claim from a Danfoss’ customer, is in charge of performing a process audit at supplier to confirm efficiency of countermeasures
  • Can propose waiver requests in respect of applicable procedures and follow waiver closure action plan from suppliers
  • Ensure supplier change control and PPAP submission, by coordinating review and approval from the project team
  • Resolve any issues with the team via drawing change or process change by the supplier.
  • Generate ECR, when required.
  • For any project is involved from M1 in project activities and ensure for each phase to get expected outputs from supplier (design review at M3, PPAP approve at M5)
  • Organize Run@Rate with suppliers and perform process audits
  • When any Danfoss factory worldwide needs to get PPAP data from a supplier of its area, support the process as regional representative
  • Supplier development : Lead continuous improvement programs on a selected supplier panel in order to prevent issues.
  • Supplier performance reporting    
  • Manage monthly reporting to suppliers
  • Communicate results with suppliers and management
  • Support with supplier process/product audit with risk identification and recommendation, esp .labeled supplier some may with limited engineering knowledge available in the organization
Background & Skills
  •    Minimum requirements to educational background
  •  Engineer or Bachelor’s Degree in a technical field of study
  •  Knowledge of overall quality and quality systems
  •     Minimum requirements to working experience
  •  Five or more years in supplier quality engineering
  •  Ability to audit quality systems and drive required improvements
  •  Experience in sustainable root cause analysis and corrective actions
  •  Any other desired requirements to personal or working experience (optional)
  •  Knowledge of quality management tools and standards (FMEA, PPAP, SPC, APQP…)
  •  Analytical skill for to execute and challenge problem solving methodologies (8D, FTA)
  •  Engineering background, either machining and assembly process knowledge or EMS process knowledge are preferred
  •  ISO-TS experience is a plus
  •  Fluent in local and English languages
