Job Description
We are currently looking for a Demand and Capacity Planner Automotive (m/f/d) for our locations in Flensburg or Nuremberg. This position offers you the exciting opportunity to accompany our extensive automotive ramp-up and thus drive the transformation towards Industry 4.0.
Job Responsibilities
In this role, you will be responsible for strategic medium and long-term production program planning and coordination of global production capacities, including planning material requirements and working closely with the production, purchasing, logistics and sales teams on a global level.
You can also expect the following tasks in your day-to-day work:
- You take care of the optimal and timely delivery of materials
- You organize the delivery process
- You define capacity forecasts and improve their accuracy by creating feedback processes
- You create data analyses for our sales and management teams
- You maintain direct customer contact, e.g. as part of setting up delivery plans if needed
- You create planning scenarios and monitor their accuracy using suitable software solutions
- You identify possible improvements in your working environment and help drive them forward
- You regularly report on the fulfillment of planning targets
Background & Skills
To be successful in this position, you hold a university degree in Engineering or Business with a focus on Supply Chain Management, Business Administration or Production management, alternatively you completed a technical or commercial vocational training.
Following aspects are also important for us:
- Several years of professional experience in a comparable field, e.g. in operational purchasing, production planning or order fulfillment
- Excellent communication skills and openness towards different stakeholders and challenges
- An independent, thorough and team-oriented way of working
- Fluency in German and English
