Embedded Software Developer (m/f/d) electrical drive control, simulation modell development

Job Description

We have an immediate opportunity for a ​Embedded Software Developer (m/f/d) ​to join us at our team in Nuremberg. 

Job Responsibilities

Responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to, the following. 

 

  • Design and implementation of software units for controlling and protecting of electrical drives
  • Definition and execution of software unit tests
  • Testing of the developed software units on hardware in the loop (HIL) and motor test benches
  • Development, validation and verification of simulation models for HIL-test benches

Background & Skills

The ideal candidate possesses these skills. 

 

 

  • Successfully completed study in electrotechnics with focus on power electronics and electrical drives or a comparable field of study
  • Good practical knowledge in power electronics and electrical drives
  • Good knowledge in Matlab / Simulink or a comparable simulation program
  • Preferable good knowledge in model based software development e.g. with Embedded Coder
  • Fluent communication in English
