Job Responsibilities

Responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to, the following. 

 

  • Organization and implementation of variant and maintenance development projects for power electronics modules produced in Pomezia
  • Implementation and support of CIP, cost-down and change projects from application to production introduction
  • Implementation and support of feasibility studies and customer-specific solutions in cooperation with other departments
  • Creation and definition of the technical documentation / specification (3D CAD, drawings, master data in PDM & ERP)
  • Coordination of initial sample approvals with suppliers
  • Planning, conception and tracking of changes of series products (engineering change management)
  • Execution or planning of sample test orders, support for prototyping and industrialization.
  • Planning and tracking of product qualifications
  • Project planning, project documentation and execution of project reviews including tracking of material, cost, and schedule goals.
  • Close cooperation with product development teams in Germany and Slovakia

Background & Skills

  • Educational background in Mechatronic Engineering or equivalent culture.
  • +4 years of experience gained in middle size structured companies, in role related to technical project work of electronic components (ideally power electronic modules).
  • Good 3D CAD knowledge, ideally SolidWorks.
  • Structured and methodical approach.
  • Ability to work in an international team and enjoy working independently.
  • Strong knowledge of Italian and English language (written and spoken)
