Job Description

Danfoss is seeking a Maintenance Planner / Scheduler at our Utica, NY facility for 1st shift. The Planner / Scheduler provides support to Maintenance Operations in scheduling and maintaining production equipment maintenance tracking throughout the Plant under instruction or with the assistance of the Maintenance Supervisor and/or Maintenance Manager. 

Job Responsibilities

  • Create and Maintain Job Plans
  • Schedule weekly work plans according production availabilities and priorities
  • Utilize CMMS (computerize maintenance management system) for preventive maintenance scheduling, work order generating, and equipment management.
  • Ensure that all proactive maintenance activities are planned, scheduled, and tracked in an efficient and effective manner.
  • Maintain work order priority
  • Develop, implement, and manage the preventive maintenance plans that keep production assets running smoothly.
  • Assist in management of spare parts inventory levels.
  • Facilitate Planning / Scheduling meetings
  • Coordinate Equipment availability for work order activities
  • Develop PM Schedules based on MTTF and Predictive Maintenance plans
  • Manage Maximo maintenance tracking system
  • Track Planning / Scheduling KPI's (Plant wide and by Area)
  • Evaluate PM Ontime effectiveness and PM Schedule Adherence
  • Identify & Develop Predictive Maintenance techniques
  • Manage Power BI
  • Familiarity with OEE, MTTR, MTBF, and TPM concepts.
  • Maximo Training Admin / Skills Trainer
  • Complete all required reporting and documentation for KPI’s
  • Able to perform shift work on a 8.5-hour shift schedule, including working in a cleanroom environment per semi-conductor industry and Semikron-Danfoss protocol/requirements

Background & Skills

  • Strong technical skills and knowledge of semiconductor processing and process equipment
  • Able to operate computer and system interface programs to ensure appropriate computing and analysis of production information.
  • Able to follow detailed instructions and procedures to complete tasks and required documentation; demonstrate solid work performance in an environment requiring a high level of attention to detail and timeliness.
  • Strong team member, able to work well with a global team, train new team members as needed and other duties as assigned; able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and prioritize activities.
  • Proficiency with software applications, Microsoft Office, Excel as well as specific programs of SAP, IBM Maximo, Factbird, and Adicom,
  • Able to create reports and document procedures.

Background & Skills

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree preferred.
  • Effective problem-solving abilities.
  • Must be well-organized and have the ability to prioritize tasks.
  • Prior clean room experience a plus
  • A good understanding of engineering principles, safety regulations, and preventative maintenance strategies are essential for success in this role.

Compensation Data

HIRING SALARY RANGE: $75,000-$90,000/year. Base salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.
