Job Description

As Plant Controller you will manage, control, and analyze the financial development of our Utica plant and act as business partner to multiple stakeholders such as the plant operational leadership team, divisional- and functional controllers and have a close collaboration with the local Finance team. You will become part of and help build our global Plant Controller network from which you can share knowledge and gain new insights within your field.  

Job Responsibilities

  • Lead the monthly reporting for our plant in Utica, ensuring correct reporting of management figures with special emphasis on product/inventory valuation
  • Drive financial compliance within the site
  • Perform costs analysis and follow-up on all cost categories (variable costs, OVC, FE etc.) on monthly and ad hoc basis and make proposals to minimize deviations
  • Working with the different departments on improving results, understanding gaps, and helping to close gaps
  • Help build up financial structures and performance management within a newly stablished site
  • Responsible for the coordination and preparation of the annual budget ensuring total plant budget meets targets provided by Business Unit Controller/Leadership
  • Support divisional controllers in providing local data insights and cost transparency 

Background & Skills

  • 7-10 years of relevant experience as a Controller (experience as Plant Controller preferred)
  • Experience in manufacturing required
  • Keen financial acumen
  • Good knowledge and understanding of MS Excel, knowledge of SAP and business warehouse (e.g. HFM) is a plus
  • Self-driven – see issues and fix them
  • Structured and dedicated method of working
  • Service-oriented and proactive with a willingness to be task owner
  • Good people skills – work with multiple stakeholders

Compensation Data

The base salary range represents the low and high end of the range for this position. Actual salaries will vary depending on factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. The range listed is just one component of the total compensation package for employees. ​The range for this position is $100,000 to $150,000
