The Impact You'll Make
You will play a key role in shaping how we ensure software quality for Danfoss’ next generation of Aqua and HVAC drive applications. Your work will directly influence how reliably our products perform in real customer environments — from pumps and compressors to water and cooling systems across Europe and the US.
By owning and evolving our Hardware‑in‑the‑Loop (HIL) and automated test landscape, you help our teams move faster, release with confidence, and meet demanding market and certification requirements. This is one of our most important quality enablers.
You will also help define how we test in the future — bringing AI‑enabled tooling, modern DevOps thinking, and system‑level insight into the heart of our development process.
You will work out of our production site in Graasten, Denmark.
What You’ll Be Doing

Own and develop HIL‑based test environments to verify embedded application and firmware software across Aqua and HVAC products

Build and run automated system and integration tests that give fast, reliable feedback in our CI pipelines

Apply AI‑assisted tools to improve test coverage, speed up root‑cause analysis, and gain deeper insight from test data

Collaborate closely with software, system, and product teams to define test strategies, acceptance criteria, and release readiness

Continuously improve our test infrastructure and processes, ensuring traceability from requirements to verified functionality
What We're Looking For

Experience with embedded software testing or development, with an electronics or mechatronics foundation and a strong focus on software

Hands‑on experience with HIL systems or similar automated test setups and the ability to program and script for testing purposes (for example in C/C++ and/or Python)

Experience working with automated testing and CI/CD pipelines (such as Azure DevOps or similar)

A system‑level mindset and strong analytical skills to diagnose complex issues across hardware and software

An outgoing, collaborative personality — you are comfortable taking technical discussions, building networks across teams, and constructively challenging ideas
