The Impact You'll Make
Danfoss is currently seeking a Account Manager to be part of the Agriculture and Turf Care Account team with responsible for growing profitable business, strengthening customer relationships, and communicating the voice of the customer within the organization regarding commercial and market needs.
As a self-driven Account Manager, you will be responsible for achieving profitable sales targets and market expansion to support strategic growth plans within the customer accounts you manage. This will include managing customer relationships while planning, coordinating, and executing all sales efforts to achieve objectives to obtain a portfolio share while maintaining a professional relationship with each customer and working closely with Danfoss Business Units.
This is a remote position for someone currently in the United State: Preferably in Minnesota or Iowa. Relocation will not be considered for this position. The salary range for this position is $100,000 - $120,000 based on experience.
What You’ll Be Doing
Responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to, the following.
- Achieve sales growth in assigned product area, market, region or channel.
- Identifying new sales opportunities within existing accounts and expanding share of wallet
- Sales planning and development which includes developing sales plans to introduce products into new assigned market. Coordinate closely with internal sales, sales support, and service to articulate and effect solution.
- Establishing strong and healthy relationships with different stakeholders in existing accounts
- Effective management of customer relations to increase sales and customer satisfaction
- Apply Danfoss selling and pricing methodology, practices and protocols.
- Participate in sales meetings along with trade shows as required.
- Increase sales opportunities and use of Danfoss product offerings with existing customers, by up-selling and cross-selling. Pursue sale opportunities with potential customers.
- 10-20% domestic travel is required
What We're Looking For
Required Qualifications
The ideal candidate possesses these skills.
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution or relevant years of industry experience in hydraulics
- 3 to 5 years of experience gained in similar roles, particularly technical sales and knowledge in the designated product and relevant industry sector.
- Self-motivated, determined and willing to succeed even under pressure
- Excellent presentation skills at all levels with B2B and internal colleagues
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work in a cross culture, multiple diverse nationalities in a matrix
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Business preferred
- IFPS certifications
