Job Description

 

Danfoss is now hiring a Remote Digitalization Business Analyst to help support out Power Solutions Segment.  This person will review, analyze and evaluate business systems and user needs.  This person will also document requirements, define scope and objectives and formulate systems to parallel overall business strategies.  You will work with a remote team creating specifications for system architects and developers upon product owner review.

 

Job Responsibilities

 

Essential Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Determine operational objectives by studying business functions; gathering information; evaluating output requirements and formats
  • Construct workflow charts and diagrams; studying system capabilities; writing specifications
  • Improve systems by studying current practices and design modifications
  • Recommend controls by identifying problems and write improved procedures
  • Maintain user confidence and protect operations by keeping information confidential
  • Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
  • Perform daily, weekly and monthly reviews and updates to requirements and documentation
  • Conduct insightful, ad hoc analyses to investigate ongoing or one-time operational issues
  • Perform data validation to support the implementation of features designed
  • Contact stakeholders and users to clarify requirements 
  • Detail user stories and propose solutions

Background & Skills

 

Required Qualifications:

  • 4+ years of system requirement documentation
  • Bachelor's degree OR equivalent work experience in the field of study
  • Fluent English
  • IT background preferred

 

Knowledge, Skills, Competencies, and Abilities:

  • Deep understanding of the Engineer to Order (ETO) model.
  • Experience with product configurators
  • To have developed system integration in previous roles
  • Excellent writing and editing skills, with experience creating technical specifications
  • Detail oriented, analytical and inquisitive
  • Ability to work independently and with others
  • Extremely organized with strong time-management skills
  • Proficiency creating workflows
