The Rulestream process specialist is responsible for executing the activities associated with detailed construction, analysis and maintenance of the rulestream models and rules aligned with Teamcenter at Danfoss. These activities include designing and maintaining models, object dependencies, system tables, classification hierarchies, material masters rules for complex products.
You will be delivering value to the Danfoss organization by implementing and maintaining Rulestream solutions dedicated to our products in collaboration with a team of experts in engineering and software development.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Define & own all components of the technological solution (inference/rules engine; integrations, & UI) & data model including solution specifications (Technical Design Document), software configuration & code, and associated IT infrastructure.
- Gain deep understanding of business processes from ITO (Inquiry to Order) to OTR (Order to Requisition), to design and develop a robust solution/system technology framework to meet business, functional and user requirements.
- Design/architecture and develop/maintain Rulestream applications with PLM (TeamCenter), CAD (e.g., NX, Inventor) and other Enterprise Applications such as ERP (e.g., SAP).
- Where required, lead and direct junior (Rulestream or Teamcenter Product Configurator) architects/developer resources engaged in understanding the business requirements, developing and delivering IT system solutions, promoting conformance to established system and define solution architecture standards and best practices.
- Creation and maintenance of databases in SQL server management.
- Ability to anticipate customer needs and ensure that they are transferred in robust improvement and simplification programs
- Support migration from existing database/System to defined / developed configuration frameworks.
- Support the creation and maintenance of technical documentation (User manual, Design specifications).
- Prepare accurate implementation and delivery plans as per functional specifications, quality standards and project schedules
- Support organization to troubleshoot and solve bugs and perform root cause analysis.
What We're Looking For
- Candidates with a Mechanical Engineering background should be considered.We are also open to engineers from relevant background provided as they meet the role requirements.
- Experience in one or more of the following programming languages: Java, VB, ITK, PLMXML, XML, C#, would be an advantage.
- Knowledge of Teamcenter BMIDE (Optional)
- Knowledge of CAD applications (NX and Inventor)
- Knowledge of NX-Open programming
- Knowledge in SQL Server and TFS
- Good understanding of Object-oriented programming.
- Strong understanding of the interface between Sales and Engineering, the decision-making parameters that govern Engineer-to-order (ETO)
- Knowledge on Project Management is an advantage.
- Strong focus on testing and quality assurance.
- Work both independently and as an integral member of a high-performance team
- Strong teamwork with good analytical skills and ability to communicate ideas in both written and verbal forms
