We are looking for a motivated and proactive Continuous Improvement Intern to join our team in Apodaca. This role offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a dynamic and innovative environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plant Indicators Management: Handle and monitor various plant performance indicators to ensure operational efficiency.
  • Kaizen Activities: Participate in and develop Kaizen activities aimed at continuous improvement and waste reduction.
  • Visual Factory Development: Contribute to the development and implementation of visual factory concepts to enhance production processes.
  • Training System Support: Assist in the management of the training system, ensuring that training programs are effectively delivered and tracked.
  • 5S and Shop Floor Audit Management: Manage and participate in the 5S system and Shop Floor Audits, including scheduling, results analysis, and conducting audits.
  • Cycle Time Validation and Balancing Development: Validate cycle times and assist in the development of balanced workflows to optimize production efficiency.

Requirements:

  • Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s degree program in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Basic knowledge of continuous improvement methodologies (e.g., Kaizen, 5S).
  • Good communication and teamwork skills.
  • Proactive attitude and willingness to learn.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
