Job Description
Danfoss Mexico is looking for an experienced Credit Analyst for our Plant in Apodaca. As Credit Analyst you will be responsible for Monitors customer accounts, track and address open items/overdue receivables, arrange settlement. Make regular calls with external customers; develop internal/external relationships to support Customer Service and Sales.
Job Responsibilities
Responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to, the following.
- Strong Communication Skills: Follow up and communicate with internal/external customers for timely payments and resolution of disputed items.
- Decision-making: Make decisions about release of blocked orders.
- Credit Risk: Assess credit risk and perform creditworthiness analysis for order releases and credit limits.
- Collections: Maintain accurate credit data and collection files; maintain electronic collection notes; take mitigating actions to avoid past due invoices.
- Discrepancy Resolutions: Follow up on disputes with Customer Service & Sales to reduce impact on collection.
- Overdue: Identify root causes of receivable aging; report findings to management; suggest and perform corrective actions.
- Teamwork: Provide training to new credit team members.
- Proactive: Analyze processes and procedures to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
- Continuous Improvement: Collaborate in process design and implementation for efficiency improvements.
Processes & Tools
- MS Office: Basic MS Office knowledge with advanced Excel skills.
- SAP: Experience with SAP (S4/Hana preferred).
- Accounting: Ability to apply basic accounting principles in interpreting customer financial statements (preferred).

- 2-3 years' experience in similar role
- Bachelor's Degree in Economics, Finance, International Business, Accounting
- Strong business writing and professional communication skills.

- Following defined strategy to ensure goals are met and exceeded.
Required Languages
- English: Fluent verbal and written. Additional languages (intermediate) beneficial.
