Members of the NGI Office Team are responsible for maintaining and supporting scalable, maintainable, and highly available network, server and client architectures that meet business objectives.
Job Responsibilities
Responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to, the following.
- Coordinate with external vendors/contractors to meet organizational goals
- Develop, maintain, and administer network operational and administrative procedures and standards to meet or exceed defined Service Level Agreements (SLA)
- Maintain and implement latest IT server measures to support the Production, Training, QA, and Development environments
- Ensure server infrastructure compliance with regulatory requirements related to SOX, HIPAA, NIST 800-53, PII and other QTC/Leidos audits
- Good understanding in automate server related tasks
- Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned
Background & Skills
The ideal candidate possesses these skills.
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college in Computer Science or a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education.
- 2-3 years previous Server engineering experience
- Experience with enterprise-wide security, NIST and HIPAA compliance and working closely with internal and external system auditors.
- ITIL v4 knowledge required
- English - advanced
- Good analytical, problem-solving and project management skills
- Ability to interact effectively with all levels of personnel
- Intermediate communication and interpersonal skills, both verbal and written
- Must possess the ability and flexibility to work extra hours and weekends
