Job Title: Indirect Procurement Intern (Purchasing)

You’ll help keep our operations running smoothly by supporting indirect procurement activities that enable teams across Danfoss to do their best work. Your contributions will directly improve data quality, visibility, and decision-making.
By turning data into clear insights, you’ll help the procurement team optimize processes, meet deadlines, and strengthen collaboration with internal stakeholders. This role gives you hands-on exposure to how a global supply organization works.
You’ll grow your skills in a real business environment while contributing to Danfoss’ mission of building a more sustainable and energy-efficient future.

 

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Create and analyze SAP reports to provide clear visibility into indirect procurement activities and support informed decisions.
  • Maintain and update master data to ensure accuracy and reliability across procurement systems.
  • Track open purchase orders to support on-time execution and adherence to agreed timelines.
  • Use advanced Excel tools (pivot tables, formulas, macros) to analyze data and build meaningful reports.
  • Support process improvement initiatives that increase efficiency and transparency within the procurement team.

What We're Looking For

  • You are an active university student in Business, Administration, Accounting, Engineering, or a related field.
  • You can communicate confidently in English, both written and spoken.
  • You have strong Excel skills, including advanced formulas and pivot tables (macros are a plus).
  • You bring a structured, analytical mindset with strong attention to detail.
