The Impact You'll Make
Danfoss IT is building new inhouse services and step into the journey of Infrastructure as Code (IaC). The IaC Engineer will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our infrastructure using code-based practices. This role requires a strong understanding of Storage, Networking and Compute areas from the perspective of [KH1] [VK2] automation and DevOps principles. The ideal candidate will have experience with various IaC tools and a passion for creating scalable, reliable, and efficient infrastructure solutions.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Design and Implementation: Design, develop, and implement infrastructure solutions using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles.
- Automation: Automate infrastructure provisioning, configuration, and deployment processes.
- Tooling: Utilize IaC tools such as Terraform, Ansible, CloudFormation, or Azure Resource Manager to manage and deploy infrastructure.
- Collaboration: Work closely with development, operations, and security teams to ensure seamless integration and deployment of applications.
- Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for infrastructure configurations, processes, and procedures.
- Security: Implement security best practices and ensure compliance with company policies and industry standards.
- Continuous Improvement: Continuously evaluate and improve infrastructure architecture, tools, and processes.
- Version Control: Use version control systems (e.g., Git) to manage and track infrastructure changes.
What We're Looking For
- Experience: Proven experience in designing, implementing, and managing infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles.
- IaC Tools: Proficiency with IaC tools such as Terraform, Ansible, CloudFormation, or Azure Resource Manager.
- Cloud Platforms: Strong understanding of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Scripting: Experience with scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
- DevOps Principles: Solid understanding of DevOps principles and practices.
- Version Control: Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git).
- Automation: Strong automation skills and experience with CI/CD pipelines.
- Operating Systems: Knowledge of Linux and/or Windows operating systems.
- Networking: Basic understanding of networking concepts and protocols.
- Problem-Solving: Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Communication: Strong communication and collaboration skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- Relevant certifications (e.g., AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, Azure DevOps Engineer Expert).
- Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
- Knowledge of security best practices and compliance standards.
- Experience with monitoring and logging tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, or ELK stack.
