Job Description

We have an immediate opportunity for a ​Maintenance Technician ​to join us at our diverse team. The Process Technician will be responsible for the distributors assembly process in different cells from set-up to testing. 

Job Responsibilities

Responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to, the following. 

  • Monitors & trouble shoots electrical & mechanical equipment used in the process to build distributors, filters and components.
  • Make reports for major breakdowns and use existing systems for downtime data record.
  • Provide line support for the manual and automated cells and is the next level of escalation after the cell expert for manufacturing issues related to safety and process quality
  • Assist in the daily activities of implementing process changes and problem solving on the shop floor
  • Assists in the prove-out of new processes and process changes by gathering data, making observations about the process, and communicating ideas to improve results
  • Works closely with several departments (Production, Process, Safety and Quality).

Background & Skills

The ideal candidate possesses these skills. 

  • Deep knowledge and experience on automated production cells.
  • Must have expertise on Siemens PLC systems. Use of Step 7 and/ or TIA Portal.
  • Experience on HMI programing.
  • Knowledge and experience on Robot maintenance and programming.
  • Failure tracking and analysis.
  • Must have technical degree on Maintenance, Mechatronic, Electrical, Electronical or related career.
  • Desire for at least 5 experience in Maintenance.
  • Full time availability, rotate shift and willing to work on holidays and weekends as requested.
  • Mechanical aptitude and understanding of manufacturing processes
  • Computer skills, (Microsoft Office, PLC, test stand)
  • Ability to read and understand hydraulic & electrical schematics
  • Familiarity with TPM and SMED techniques.
  • Customer Service mindset and the ability to stay calm under pressure are necessary traits
