Job Description

Danfoss Climate Solutions is looking for an experienced Maintenance Engineer to join our team in Heating Exchangers, Apodaca plant. You will be expected to excel in a fast pace, growing company and thrive in a culture of continuous improvement.  You will need to have outstanding interpersonal skills to work cooperatively with customers, co-workers and suppliers.

Job Responsibilities

Responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to, the following. 

  • Driving continuous improvement through irreversible corrective actions to field issues and inspection analysis.
  • Implementation of maintenance strategies, procedures and methods
  • Carry out routine maintenance and respond to fault
  • Plan preventive maintenance
  • Ensure continuous coverage of equipments
  • Arrange specialist procurement of fixtures, fittings or components
  • Improvement in Maintenance KPIs
  • Diagnose breakdown problems
  • Monitor and control maintenance costs
  • Spare parts management assuring availability
  • Run Quality inspections
  • Supervise maintenance technicians
  •  

Background & Skills

The ideal candidate possesses these skills. 

  • Bachelor of Electrical, Electronic, Manufacturing, Mechanical Engineering degree is required.
  • Preferred experience in following tools: PPAP, MSA, calibration, Control Plans, PFMEA, Core Tools and detailed manufacturing work instructions.
  • Previous maintenance engineering experience in a manufacturing environment required with preferred experience with IATF/ISO 9001
  • Required experience in using problem solving tools
  • Collaborative and cooperative
  • Automation, control and programming experience (Mitsubishi and Siemens preferred)
  • Safety first mindset
  • Advanced English
  • Proficient at Microsoft Excel and a statistical analysis program (Minitab).
