Job Description
Danfoss Climate Solutions within it segment of Commercial Compressors, is looking for their next Operations Director, based in Monterrey with solid experience with factory ramp-ups.
On this role, you will be responsible for factory performance targets in terms of safety, quality, delivery and cost. As well, you will develop our people and organization, ensuring an effective and customer centric way of working, whilst also building capabilities for future smart manufacturing.
Job Responsibilities
Responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:
- People Management: Develop strong, diverse and effective teams to secure factory performance targets. Drive strong employee engagement. Engage in continuous dialogue with employees and management teams. Engage in talent development at all levels, ensuring a healthy pipeline of successors for key roles.
- Safety: Reinforce mindset and build practices for all teams to ensure zero unsafe conditions.
- Customer Quality experience: Reinforce our quality management system & standards (ISO9001, IATF16949), driving a zero-defect culture in the organization.
- Delivery Performance: In collaboration with Global Planning and other key stakeholders, securing balanced full E2E flow, delivering on time in accordance with customer expectations. This, balanced with high stock turn rates and low raw material inventories.
- Flexibility performance: Drive our continuous improvement culture, ensuring year on year productivity and equipment efficiency. Drive factory CAPEX roadmap to secure machine OEE, productivity and automation improvements.
- Cost: Drive continuous improvement activities in operational (VCV) cost elements to secure year-over-year targets. Develop mitigation actions on cost deviations.
- Smart Manufacturing: Drive our journey towards automatic Manufacturing and Digitalization on the shop floor.
- Union Relations: To have adequate contact with union representatives and facilitate constructive co-operation. Other tasks as required on the job agreed with a direct Manager
