Then keep on reading, as we might have the perfect career opportunity for you as our new SAP APO Senior Consultant within our global SAP APO Team.

 

Working with the smartest people and the newest technologies as our new colleague you will drive the front-end development in our digital planning platform hosted in SAP APO.

You will join our team of 7 dedicated APO SAP Consultants, and be a key player in our ‘One ERP’ initiative, bringing those business requirements into a live system. You will also have a central role in making sure we are ready for the future of APO, that to us means developing future architecture and functionalities in APO environment, making sure that APO functionality is also kept relevant in the late 2020’s. Thus, keeping up with platform enhancements at vast scale, building solutions that enables us to ‘Engineer Tomorrow’.

Job Responsibilities

 

You will:

  • Cooperate closely with the colleagues in our Design Competence Center department, other consultants and software engineers, staying in close contact with the overall business.
  • Understand existing solutions and compare these to business requirements
  • Be responsible for designing new solutions, suggesting solution enhancements  
  • Communicate with business to understand actual needs and propose logical and optimized solutions
  • Support the design and implementation of activities for the specific SAP application / solution component and functional area, including analysis and design/redesign of business processes and/or defining parts of an organization.
  • Be an IT Functional Team Member of the Design Competence Center, bringing IT Solution template expertise.

Background & Skills

 

Your profile:

  • Any Bachelors degree in Engineering, Business education or a background in Information Technology.
  • Around 5  years of experience in SAP ECC and S4/HANA in similar role on past projects for functional area / domain as an APO consultant in SAP ERP implementation projects.
  • Familiarity with IT landscape and Solution Architecture.
  • Proven experience in Solution Analysis, design and build of RICEFW specifications
  • Strong experience within APO for areas: Planning Board/Table, Resources, Transportation lanes, Configurable process scheduling, and ATP check and Global-ATP.
  • Capable to Promise scenarios (CTP)
  • APO – PP/DS
  • Production and Capacity Planning
  • CIF Integration of master data
  • Integration scenarios with APO for ATP, DP and PP/DS
  • Excellent spoken and written English.

 

On the interpersonal side the role requires:

  • Ability to manage smaller yet focused tasks forces and teams
  • Self-drive  in your work style with little direction setting.
  • Ability to lead workshops with the business and other IT colleagues.
  • Desire to learn
  • Good cooperation skills and able to work cross-capability with a mix of culturally diversed  internal and external consultants
  • Capability of decision/recommendation on your own.
