Senior Consultant, ERP Finance and Controlling (FICO)

Job Description

Danfoss is looking for an experienced SAP FICO Senior Consultant for the ERP & BI area of Danfoss Group IT (DGIT). This team is responsible for supporting our existing Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems and Business Intelligence (BI) systems supporting Danfoss in its’ digitalization and electrification agenda across the globe.
As our new colleague, you will be part of a well-functioning global team of committed and skilled IT consultants, who are front runners within SAP ERP, implementing the full suite of the latest S4/Hana technology.

Job Responsibilities

Responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to, the following.

• Proven Setup Experience With
• Understand business true need, identity and document requirements and gaps
• Design the solution based on the requirement, the designed solution should be validated and approved by the solution architect
• Delivery the configuration and development specification if needed
• Escalate to the solution owner or project manager if the agreed delivery time is comprised
• Validate the test cases against the requirements
• Validate the solution meets the requirements
• Involve in various projects and new service requests
• Doing second line support to Application support

The ideal candidate possesses these skills. 

• Proven global experience with SAP FICO and SAP S/4 HANA, setup and implementation in larger Manufacturing companies. Solution Analysis, design and build of RICEFW specifications.
• 8+ years of experience in similar role on past projects for functional area / domain and solution module, or as IT consultant in SAP ERP and S/4 HANA implementation projects.
• Have a Finance and controlling process understanding and can work with more assignments at a time
• Experience with FICO Module within SAP, Product Costing and Material ledger is a plus.
• Experience with the connection between FICO & Other modules, especially sales and purchase
• Familiarity with IT landscape & Solution Architecture
• ITIL Knowledge
• Capable of translating business needs to solutions within SAP FICO
• Can communicate very well in English as it is our business language
Soft Skills:
• Capable of communicating a complex IT-structure to clients in business language
• Open to challenges and the necessary drive to follow your tasks through
• Able to challenge the business.
• High cooperation skills and able to work cross-capability with a mix of internal and external consultants
